Amber Fort - Sukh Niwas or Hall of Pleasure. Water once flowed through a channel in the Sukh Niwas, cooling the royal family with the breezes it created, before draining into the star-shaped pond in the middle of the garden planted with jasmine.

Amber Fort - Palace of Man Singh I, the oldest part of the fort, completed in 1599. The women's quarters surrounds the courtyard. The rooms were designed so the maharaja could visit his wives without the others knowing.
